The Gathering Place doesn’t belong to just serve as a means of babysitting during our Sunday Gathering. We’ve designed the environment of The Gathering Place intentionally to allow worship, teaching, and God’s word to come alive in the hearts of the children in our House.

We use a train theme for our preschoolers that we call the HIStory Express. Preschoolers are greeted in their classroom (The Discovery Depot) with activities that help prepare them for their bible lesson. Then they hop aboard the “train” and travel to: The Celebration Station, where they worship; The Revelation Station, where they hear a lesson from God’s Word; The Imagination Station, where hands-on experiences reinforce what they are learning; and Memory Junction, where they memorize God’s Word.Your children will have an incredible time listening, learning, laughing, memorizing and singing the truth of the gospel. Yes, your kids will love it!

For our elementary-age kids we take a different route. Each gathering is different, but all circles around the central theme of “God’s Story”. Led by amazing Gathering Place teachers, each gathering includes a mixture of age-appropriate Bible story, with a short talk unpacking the story, discussion time and fun activities.
The Gathering Place is staffed and administrated mostly by the best volunteers in our House who are passionate about helping every child feel comfortable and accepted, and most importantly see the love of Jesus. All of our volunteers undergo background checks and quarterly training.
